GREENWISE BANKCARD AND PETERMARK SALON TEAM UP TO INCREASE CHARITABLE GIVING
Credit Card Processing Company Utilizes the Salon Industry Checkout Process to Increase Donations to National Charities

 
Greenwise Bankcard, LLC, a credit card processing company, has added charitable giving as an option for customers who pay for their salon visit by credit or debit card. Through its Donate Wise Now® feature on the terminal, guests can choose to make a donation to a national charity in a $1, $3, or $5 increment. They can also, if they’d like, complete the transaction by rounding the total up to the nearest dollar.

 
PeterMark Salon in Delray Beach, Florida is the first salon to embrace this new technology and implement the system into their checkout process in their flagship salon. Its charity of choice is the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida.

 
While PeterMark Salon had already been donating $1 of each service to the foundation, Greenwise’s Donate Wise Now technology has increased their monthly donation by almost double the amount. In the first 3 weeks of the service, they had already collected an additional $450 in donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.

 
Robert DiMattina, president of Greenwise Bankcard (www.greenwisebankcard.com), stated, “We chose PeterMark Salon as our first salon merchant because of their commitment to the community and charitable giving. They are trendsetters in their industry, and we are thrilled with the success so far.”

 
The system is also eco-friendly. Through the Green Receipt® feature, clients can elect not to print a receipt, and instead view it through the Planet Receipt website at www.planetreceipt.com. There they can track their spending, as well as, obtain a receipt of their donations.

 
In their second month of implementation, PeterMark Salon is on track to donate an additional $500 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.
