Downtown Delray gets yet another Italian restaurant, you say? Yes! But SoLita (which stands for “South of Little Italy”) is not just any Italian restaurant. SoLita is a perfect combination of old school Italian recipes passed down for generations and a modern, yet luxurious and ultra-glam environment—two things we happen to love; great food served in a sexy space!
The parlor lounge, adjacent to the main dining area, is a great space to dance the night away after dinner with friends. Move to the beats of the areas’ best DJ’s and live entertainers. And the cocktails? They’re not so bad either. Top shelf cocktails prepared by only the hottest bartenders…how could you go wrong with that?
SoLita also offers an outside patio where you can take a break from dancing to catch up with friends, and plan your next move towards that hot girl or guy inside as SoLita draws an exceptionally great looking crowd.
If you’re planning a dinner party, let SoLita handle the details, and dine hassle-free at the private chef’s table. Next, move the party to the parlor lounge and take a spin on what looked to be a stripper pool disguised as a lamp. (Still waiting on confirmation…)
Amazing food prepared by Chef Anthony “Radar” Risoli (We recommend the meatballs…you’ll thank us later), great drinks, an upscale, good-looking crowd, and dynamite music keeps us heading back to SoLita. Who knew that the long-vacated space at 25 2nd avenue, once known as Kyoto’s, would come back with such a vengeance!
We suggest calling ahead for dinner reservations to secure your ideal time, but they also offer a late night menu for those that get a later start on the night. Small plates ranging from $5-$7 and happy hour cocktails are available Monday-Friday from 5pm to 7pm, and the parking garage is on the same block, as well as, valet service for your total VIP experience.
Thank you Susan and Steve, SoLita is just what Downtown Delray needed! Divo’s out…to SoLita that is!
