“Looking for some local color? PeterMark Salon owners Peter DeRosa and Mark Hasche are the title sponsor to two local upcoming events, the 43rd Annual Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the Delray Affair.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held March 12, 2011 from 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. It will run on Atlantic Avenue from Gleason Street to Swinton Ave. The entire road will be blocked off for the extravagant event. PeterMark’s float “Born This Way,” titled after Lady Gaga’s recent hit single which will be heard playing on the float, will be featured in the parade.

Their float represents an important message to the community from the salon founders.”We want everyone to feel comfortable being who they are,” Hasche said.

Mark Hasche caught up with Shiri Spear to discuss the best and worst hair at this year’s Golden Globes.

This Friday, March 11th, the team from PeterMark Salon in Delray Beach, FL will style 15 models and 15 board members of the Shuzz Fund for their first annual “All About Shuzz” Event. The show will take place at Mercedes Benz of Delray Beach; cocktails begin at 6:30pm and the models will take the runway at 8:30pm.

Since the focus is “All About Shuzz,” the models will be wearing dresses constructed of cellophane, to keep all the attention on the featured shoes donated by Christian Louboutin, Tory Burch, Giusepe Zanotti, Sergio Rossi, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Gucci, Chanel, and Stuart Weitzman.

With the support of local businesses like PeterMark salon, the Shuzz Fund aims to raise over $100,000 through this event. These proceeds will go directly to putting shoes on underprivileged children in Haiti.

Peter DeRosa states, “We are so excited to support this worthwhile and fashion forward cause; it is a great feeling knowing that we are helping children internationally by doing something that we love—styling beautiful hair!”
